Peoria Wedding Photographer > Annie & Richard Galena Wedding

The setting for Annie & Richard’s wedding was a very cool contrast from the setting of their engagement photos… rather than the Chicago Art Institute and Willis Tower as the backdrops, they opted for a scenic overlook of the Mississippi River valley offered by the Galena Cellars Vineyards, and historic Desoto House Hotel in Galena.  Here are a few of my favorites:   Desoto House Hotel Garden Party Florist Galena Cellars Vineyard Riniker Rythym

Peoria Wedding Photographer > Kara & Ted Peoria Heights Wedding

Kara & Ted’s wedding was a lot of fun to shoot.  It was very casual (Ted’s father collected all the guest’s ties at the front door because they were too formal!) and was set in Ted’s parent’s absolutely gorgeous home/ backyard in Peoria Heights.  The historic home sits high above the Illinois river bluff, and the backyard seems as though it was plucked from Italy and set in central Illinois.  Here are a few of … Continued

Peoria Wedding Photographer > Carrie & James Starved Rock Engagement

Usually couples want me to choose most or all of the locations for their engagement session, but Carrie and James knew that they wanted to shoot at Starved Rock State Park, and I was more than happy to oblige!  Not many places available to us flatlanders offer towering river bluffs and an assortment of waterfalls, but Starved Rock is a pretty unique and special place.  Here are a few of my favorites:

Peoria Wedding Photographer > Brooke & Terry Peoria Wedding

Brooke & Terry had a gorgeous ceremony at Trinity Lutheran in Peoria, followed by a crazy reception at the Waterhouse.  Terry is a high school coach, and around a dozen of his athletes played the role of usher at the wedding, and DJ at the reception… plus Elvis payed a visit!  Here are a few of my favorites:

Peoria Wedding Photographer > Annie & Richard Engaged

Annie and Richard love dogs… their own, and well, everyone else’s too!  Annie owns/operates Jane of All Trades Chicago, and their home is generally home to any number of dogs they’re watching, in addition to two of their own.  Their dogs are going to be the ring bearer and flower girl at their wedding in July, so we definitely wanted them to be involved in the engagement session too.  We shot at their home with … Continued

Peoria Wedding Photographer > Emily & Dustin Engaged

Whoever said photographing friends is hard never met Emily & Dustin!  Their happy and carefree interaction with each other couldn’t have been easier to capture on camera, and we had a great time shooting in a few different spots in Peoria (despite a little fender-bender!)  Here’s a few of my favorites:

Peoria Wedding Photographer > Brooke & Terry Engaged

A beautiful October day with a beautiful couple, in a beautiful setting… Brooke & Terry’s engagement session was a photographer’s dream!  We headed outside of town to some re-claimed natural prairie land owned by a friend of mine, and found some fantastic settings to shoot in among the tall grass and ruined barns.  Here are a few of my favorites:
